The company was founded in August 1974 as Yaesu Giken Tsusho Co., Ltd. and began selling mechanical descaling machines. The company was later renamed Miyazaki Engineering Corporation in August 1982, and has been in business ever since.
The main activities at that time were the manufacture and sale of mechanical descaling machines for CD bars and wire rods and their maintenance.
We have also developed new products in niche areas, such as the development of picleaners, which are additives for sulfuric acid pickling, and the development of belts for binding CD bars and wire coils, which we sell to many secondary bar and wire rod processing manufacturers. We also sell our products to many secondary bar manufacturers.
We are also expanding our business to domestic and overseas customers by adding new businesses such as technical support for secondary bar manufacturing, overseas plant start-up support, machine maintenance training, slinging skills training, and special training for cranes with capacities of less than 5 tons.
We at Miyazaki Engineering will continue to listen to the problems of secondary bar manufacturers and strive to meet the expectations of our customers by designing, manufacturing, and selling equipment that improves safety, the environment, quality, productivity, and costs, as well as providing maintenance, manufacturing technology support, and various types of onsite manufacturing training. We will continue to strive to meet the expectations of our customers.

Miyazaki Engineering Co., Ltd. have celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2019. This is also supported by the trust of our customers and leads to today.We have been acclaimed for providing customers of domestic and overseas customers with manufacturing and supporting equipment for CD bars and CHQ wire based on technology and development cultivated with our parent company Miyazaki Seiko. We will make every effort to bring out more customer satisfaction.
Environmental policy
We have established the following environmental policy to promote "environmental conservation and protection" and "sustainable social development" through our business activities to develop and provide reliable and satisfactory technologies and products to secondary steel processing manufacturers.
1.We will continuously evaluate the performance of our environmental management system through the establishment and operation of an environmental management system that is immediately adapted to our business activities.
2. Set environmental goals and raise awareness of environmental conservation and protection activities through environmental education for all employees.
3.Comply with environment-related laws and regulations, and strive to protect and preserve the environment.
4. To prevent pollution in all aspects of our business activities, we will focus on the following items
(1) We will strive to develop and promote environmentally friendly products and services.
(2) Improve the efficiency of electricity and copier paper use, and promote resource and energy conservation.
(3) Endeavor to promote recycling of resources by thoroughly sorting and managing waste.
(4) Through "5S activities," strive to improve the working environment in the factory and promote the beautification of the surrounding area.
5. To achieve this environmental policy, we will set environmental targets and review them periodically and as necessary.
6. The environmental policy shall be posted in the company and made known to all employees, and shall also be made available to the general public on the company website.
